When I need a cool pick-me-up treat, this is one of my go-tos! It’s really easy to create and you can switch up the ingredients as you want. I sometimes like to mix this recipe with a cup Vanilla Protein powder for a muscle-building boost or Pineapple puree’ to make it like one of my favorite treats in the world! (Dole’s Pineapple Whip from Disneyworld!)
Prep/Total Time: 10 min.
- 1 can (6oz) frozen orange juice concentrate (if you don’t have any, exchange for orange juice – but will need more)
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup sugar (I exchange with Splenda or Stevia
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 10 ice cubes
Combine first 5 ingredients in blender at high speed. Add ice cubes a few at a time, and blend until smooth. Enjoy immediately! Should be about 4-6 servings.
